SA SA SA is made of wazarashi, a type of traditional cotton fabric that has been used for centuries in Japan. Made of 100% Oka weave, a type of cotton that uses extra fine thread to create a softer, denser, and more durable fabric, SA SA SA's cloth absorbs water well and is quick to dry. From wiping, straining, wrapping, to covering, this versatile cloth covers a wide range of tasks in the kitchen and around the house. Processed without the use of chlorine bleach and other harsh chemicals, these sarashi are perfect for drying vegetables, filtering coffee, and using as baby wipes. Also great for wrapping rice balls, as sarashi cloths were used as saran wraps back in the days, keeping the rice fluffy and fresh for longer. The cloths can be reused after wash, making them a sustainable alternative to traditional paper towels. Gently perforated for easy tearing. Recommend to use with SA SA SA / SARASHI ROLL STAND. Made by Takeda Sarashi Factory, a company established in 1911 in Osaka, Japan. (video from sasasa official)
