Made by TOYAMA HAMONO, a traditional shears manufacturer based in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1861 in a town renowned for blacksmithery, TOYAMA HAMONO is now in its fifth generation, handcrafting secateurs and shears using the same methods and techniques to make katanas (samurai swords). Made of high carbon steel, the blades are highly durable and produce sharp cuts, and the curved handles give a comfortable grip.
