Designed by Makoto Koizumi and made in Niigata Prefecture of Japan, these iron pans are finished with a fiberline coating. Small fibrous bumps on the griddle minimizes the surface area that comes in contact with the food, preventing them from burning and sticking. The handle is made of teak, a type of wood widely used in shipbuilding for its high water resistance and durability.
